May 6, 2026 Update

A brief update from Protect Mud Bay Cliffs on the status of PMBC’s appeal of the city’s decision that an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) is not required for the proposed Woods at Viewcrest subdivision.

On May 4, 2026, PMBC received another notice from Hearing Examiner Sharon Rice that she “will be unable to complete the decision in this matter this week,” and that she “anticipates that she will be ready to issue by the end of the month.”

PMBC is now looking for a decision by the last business day in May, or May 29. PMBC will continue to keep you posted.
