June 1, 2026 Update

A brief update from Protect Mud Bay Cliffs on the status of PMBC’s appeal of the city’s decision that an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) is not required for the proposed Woods at Viewcrest subdivision.

On May 4, 2026, Hearing Examiner Sharon Rice informed us that she anticipates issuing a decision by the end of May. As of 3:30pm on June 1, PMBC has not heard from Examiner Rice nor has a decision been posted on the Hearing Examiner’s case log for HE-26-PL-001.

Although PMBC has not received any update, we hope to hear from Examiner Rice by the end of the week.
