A brief update from Protect Mud Bay Cliffs on the status PMBC’s appeal of the city’s decision that an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) is not required for the proposed Woods at Viewcrest subdivision.

On April 20, 2026, PMBC received notice from Hearing Examiner Sharon Rice that she needs an additional 10 days beyond April 30 to issue her decision on PMBC’s appeal.

We now anticipate receiving Examiner Rice’s decision by May 10. PMBC will continue to keep you posted.
