PUBLIC HEARING REMINDER

Dear Neighbors and Supporters,

A final reminder that the public hearing to protect the Mud Bay estuary and the forested cliffs overlooking the bay is TOMORROW — Wednesday, January 14 at 5:00 pm. You can attend in-person at City Hall or via Zoom.

URGENT: Protect Mud Bay Cliffs (PMBC) is seeking a few additional volunteers to read a three-minuteprepared statement at the hearing. Please email Ava Ferguson at avaferguson@gmail.com ASAP for more information.

REGISTRATION FOR PUBLIC HEARING & SEPA APPEAL HEARING

IMPORTANT: Please be sure to register for the Woods at Viewcrest Land Use Public Hearing. Registration is not required to attend in person; however, PMBC recommends registering for the Zoom meeting so you can observe from home as well.

Visit this link to register for the Public hearing - bit.ly/PMBC-Hearing-Registration. Once registered, you will receive a link to the Zoom meeting.

PUBLIC HEARING DETAILS

Each speaker will be given three minutes to present comments. If the hearing does not conclude on January 14, then it will reconvene on January 15 at 1:00 pm. However, if you choose not to speak, you can still attend the hearing. Your presence alone will send a strong measure to the City and the Hearing Examiner.

Those of us who do speak will respectfully request the Hearing Examiner to require an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) and deny all the applications requested by the developer.

GRATITUDE

Thanks in advance for signing up and attending the hearing tomorrow. And please pass the word to anyone you know who cares about the environment. PMBC greatly appreciates your support.

With appreciation,
The Protect Mud Bay Cliffs Steering Committee
